OGKILS Canada Cup Badminton Tournament 2025 refers to and follows the Laws of Badminton and General Cometition Regulations guided by Badminton Canada.

赛程安排及规则 Scheduling and Rules
8月30日（星期六）—— 小组积分赛
各项类别的所有报名选手将随机分配成4或8小组（根据最终报名人数而定），每个小组需至少有4名选手，依次进行一局11分制比赛，任何一方先达到11分为胜出，个人积1分。组内最高分的选手顺利晋级至8强（或4强）淘汰赛，如果出现平分（如二人均为2分），则参考此二人对局胜负比分，胜者晋级）。
Saturday, August 30 - Group Standings
In each category, all players will be randomly divided into 4 or 8 groups (depends on the total number of registriees), there are at least 4 players within the group, then play One 11-point match with each other. In a match, a player who first reaches 11 point will win the match and receive 1 point. The player with the highest points advanced to the quarterfinals (or semi-finals). If 2 players' point is the same (i.e., both received 2 points), then we will refer to the result of match between these 2 players, the one who won the match advanced to the quaterfinals.
8月31日（星期日）—— 晋级淘汰赛
各项类别的晋级选手将进行一局21分制比赛，任何一方先到达21分为胜出，直至决出冠亚季军。简单来说，就是采用21分制，一局定胜负，决出前三名。
Sunday, August 31 - Knockout Stages
In each category, players with progression to the knockout stages will play ONE 21-point match, whichever side reaches 21 point first will win the match, until the championship, runner-up and 3rd place are finalized.

赛前须知及注意事项

请参赛选手携带有效的身份证件（如驾照、健康卡、护照等带有本人姓名和出生日期的证件），按比赛流程表的时间安排提前到场签到并领取报名小礼品。签到处将会发放参赛项目对应颜色的纸质手环并写有编号，请全程佩戴，当天比赛结束后可自行摘除。

每个场地由一名志愿者担任场控，协助比赛进行、羽毛球更换和登记比分结果。

本次比赛全程提供李宁G300 77速羽毛球，比赛开始前由志愿者场控提供一颗新球，比赛过程中可视情况举手示意更换新羽毛球。

场馆内严禁吸烟、吸毒、喝酒或携带酒精类饮料、喧闹等严重影响比赛的行为，一经发现，将被请离场馆。

比赛期间，请观众们安静就坐在场地两边，尽量减少走动，手机调至禁音，观赛时拍照摄影请关闭闪光灯，以免干扰比赛。禁止在比赛过程中随意穿行比赛场地，请沿着场地外侧绕道而行。

注意保管好随身携带的贵重物品，以免丢失。

12岁以下的儿童必须由家长或监护人全程陪同。
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE THE MATCHES

Please bring a VALID ID (i.e. Driver’s license, health card, passport, or any ID with your legal name and date of birth) for check-in. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance to check in and receive gifts at the reception desk. Participants will be provided with the wristbands for each category that you have registered with the number on it, please wear it all the time during the game and feel free to remove it at the end of the day.

A volunteer will be on site for each court, they will assist the game, provide shuttlecocks and take down the results of each game.

Li-Ning G300 feather shuttlecocks (77 speed) will be provided by the volunteer during the game. Volunteers will provide a new shuttlecock at the beginning of each game as well as during the game based on the conditions of the shuttlecock if a player raises hands for a new one.

Behavior that will seriously affect the game including smoking, cannabis, drinking alcohols or alcoholic beverages, is strictly prohibited in the venue, anyone found with such behaviors will be asked to leave the venue.

The audience are asked to have a seat on both sides of the venue, keep quiet and not walk around during the game, mute the mobile phone, and turn off the flash when taking photos, so as not to interfere with the competition. It is forbidden to walk across the court during the game, please take a detour along the outside of the court.

Please keep your belongings safe and secure, and do not forget to take all of them when leaving.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

The contestant with the highest points will advance to the intermediary contest (12 in total).
The intermediary contest: 4 groups, 3 contestants per group, play 21-point matches with each other, and the winner of each match earns 1 point within the group.
The contestant with the highest points will advance to the semi-finals.
Semi-finals & Finals: play ONE 21-point matches.
男双（共26队，52人）Men’s Double (26 teams, 52 in total)
6 个小组，每组 4-5队，单循环赛制，每胜一场积 1 分。
各小组 第一名 晋级复赛。

报名参赛搭档名字如需更改，请于8月27日晚10点前回复该邮件。如果发生意外受伤或疾病导致无法参赛，需提供医生证明，可更换参赛选手；如若未找到替补，则视为自动弃赛，参赛报名费不予退还。
*Please reply to this email by 10:00 pm on August 27 if you would like to change your partner's name. In case of any emergency (injuries or disease) happens that participants can not attend the game, a doctor note or proof of illness must be provided in order to switch with another person; if no one is able to replace the seat, it will be considered a forfeit automatically, registration fee will not be refunded.
